Soul Knitters
This fun group meets every Tuesday at noon in the Guild Room.
This ministry enjoys fellowship time focused on fun and knitting. The group begins at noon with prayer and ends at 2:00 with prayer. People are able to come for whatever time they have available. Some bring their lunch and enjoy their lunch hour, and others are able to stay the entire time. Both are great! Soul Knitters have, and continue to, knit lots of sweaters, hats, blankets, and other items for WIC. Blankets have been made for Hospice. Throws are made for our High School and College graduates. Prayer shawls are made for those members of the congregation and beyond, who need extra love and prayer. During the knitting process, items are prayed for.
Please feel free to bring your own knitting projects if you wish. There are lots of experienced knitters in the group if you are in need of knitting help!
